Happy Birthday, Todd!!! He looks pretty good for an old guy of 51!!!! Living in Page, and not being able to go out of town lately, he did not get showered with lovely gifts from his "I don't plan too far in advance" wife. But, I got him a cute carrot cake and some candy bars with the promise of a new sound system next trip to St. George!!! He is a wonderful husband and I am so lucky!! So HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MR.G!!!
We made a quick trip to Phoenix earlier in the week so I could see a Cardiologist and get nuked. Turns out, nothing is wrong with my heart--big relief. He can not figure out why my blood pressure is way up. So, I am waiting for results from another specialist who ran many tests. Meantime, I am having HORRIBLE side effects from all the meds. Thankfully, the Cardiologist is having me slowly get off them, and see what happens and I've had some relief the past couple of days--thanks in part to my little pink friends (Xanax)! Just pray this will be all over soon!!!
As most of you know, our Chapel is closed and undergoing a year long reconstruction. Since we drive by it to get home, we watch as it is slowly looking more and more ghetto as they strip, rebuild and reroof. Here are a couple of pictures of the back of the Chapel
